My body of work floats through mediums of drawing, video, projection, installation and digital image. As an artist of decades in New York City, I have gone through a few critical crossroads in my life culturally, technologically, societally and personally, which have all impacted my thinking as an artist. Mediums in my work are interconnected like tree branches; what pulls them together is multifaceted mind (concept, ideas, reflection) and creative process. Contradictions and the fragile and unpredictable nature of our daily existence continue to shape the conceptual framework of my work. The inexplicable truth and wisdom revealed through the process of artmaking unceasingly astonish and expand my creative perception. My works have been included in numerous exhibitions nationally and internationally since the late '80s. The one-person shows in New York include The Governors Island Art Fair in 2012, Sarah Lawrence College and Open Source Gallery in 2009, Gallery 456 in 2002 and the two-person show at Momenta Art in 2000.
