I am an interdisciplinary artist. Originally from Taiwan and Los Angeles, I have lived in NYC for more than four decades, and my artworks span mixed-media drawings, video and sound, multimedia installations and intermedia collaborations. Since 1990, my works have been exhibited nationally and internationally in galleries, museums, screenings, and project spaces. I have had one-person shows at Sarah Lawrence College, Open Source, a two-person show at Momenta Art, a solo exhibition at Gallery 456, and a one-person drawing show at the 2012 Governors Island Art Fair. Selected shows of my drawings include “In the Heat of Becoming” at the Collective Z Gallery, "The Soul of the Form" at The LIC-A Art Space, "LINES" on the online FLATFILE gallery, Ethan Cohen Kube Gallery, Pierogi Gallery/Flat Files, BRIC House Gallery, and Lorimoto Gallery. Recent video shows and screenings include "An Investigation of Media Mythology" curated by Robert Mizaki at Synesthesia in Bushwick, "No World Cinema: NYC Diary Films III Screening" presented by Chihiro Ito at Chelsea Walls Gallery, an intermedia video collaboration with composer Michael Vincent Waller's composition "Dreaming Cadenza" at Experimental Intermedia's 20th Screen Compositions in March 2024 curated by Katherine Liberovskaya, and Millennium Film Workshop Open Screening and "Quantum Intimacies" curated by Michèle St. Michel; in 2023, an intermedia collaboration with David Graves, the musician and creator of "LEONIA" as part of his "INVISIBLE CITIES" project, won 2nd Place at B. J. Spoke Gallery Expo 42; video at Dumbo Glow projection night curated by Leo Kuelbs and Adrian Pocobelli, "The Subtle Cure" screening at Synesthesia Gallery in Brooklyn, curated by Bradley Eros, "Ultra Shorts and NFTs" Dumbo Glow projection night, the LIGHT YEAR 90 International Video Art Exhibition in Dumbo and Berlin, and the NEUMERAKI Project. In 2021, video collaborations with the CreArtBox Winter Music Festival and the CreArt Interactive Web Music Festival, and in 2020, the Creative Code Art Festival. I am an Honorary Fellowship recipient at the Djerassi Artist Residency, an awarded Artist Resident at McColl (Tryon) Center for Visual Art, and a former AIM and FISEA artist.
